I teach in a low income school district in NJ. Some of my preschool children face situations and challenges in their young lives that are well beyond their years on this earth. But, when that music plays in the classroom, they come alive with happiness, creativity and self-expression! They dance! They sing! They build stages out of blocks and pretend to be performers. They exude confidence that is not seen in other situations.

About my class
