My students are from a large school made up mostly of low socioeconomic population. The are wonderful 5-6 year old kindergrtners, most of whom have had no intro to any type of formal schooling. I try to do the best I can for them, because despite their home lives and challenges outside of school, they always show up with a smile and want to learn!
