Regarding the magna-tiles, I heard comments like \"I wish I had this kind of fun stuff at home.\" We used them in multiple ways such as in our STEM activities where they would build towers with added letters on each tile. They would identify letters as they built them. Also, during the holiday season, I put metal bells out and they made Christmas trees. \r\n They also enjoyed building roads with the magnet road tiles and cars provided. We would discuss curved/straight lines during this play time and also how to practice social emotional skills of taking turns through sharing.\r\n With the sand related ice cream shop product, my students were able to practice levers with the machine and problem solving as they discovered how to \"make \r\nthe ice-cream maker operable.
