I am a teacher in an inner city. I go to work everyday to provide my students with a sense of stability and organization. My students are in Pre-K and range in age from 3 to 5. Many times this is their first time being away from their parents and in a school environment. This is very scary for some children. My goal is to make sure I can make my students feel safe and loved because without that student's wont learn even if they had every resource at their fingertips.Once we establish that, learning can take place! I try to maximize my budget the best I can each year but materials are not always obtainable when we need them. That is when we need to use other resources such as this site to help provide our students with everything they need!
