I teach Music to 600+ students in an urban elementary school. Many of my students are learning English for the first time, and all are learning academic language as a second language, so school is challenging for many of them -- but the language of music gives them an opportunity to learn and to excel quickly! We come together through music to explore many worlds we only access in our musical classroom. Thank you for supporting our projects and helping us to expand our musical worlds.
