Our school is located in Southern California. My students are 6th graders that come from an economically disadvantaged neighborhood. They are fully aware of the challenges that lie before them, and they face them head on. Each one of them is a motivated individual with many diverse goals in life. They aspire to be many different things in life, ranging from teachers to engineers to lawyers. They look forward to achieving their goals and they know that unfortunately the odds are stacked against them, but they continue to give one hundred percent effort, day in and day out.

About my class
