I teach Spanish in an urban high school with an extremely diverse student body. In my classroom, I have students who range from aspiring to go to Harvard to happy to just pass the class because they are in it for the second time. I have students with low motivation who need engaging materials to keep them focused and keep them believing that they can do it and succeed. I’m writing this grant on behalf of 13 other teachers and myself in the department who ALL share these circumstances.

About my class
