My students attend an interdistrict magnet school. 70% of the students are inner city children living in Bridgeport, CT. The remaining 30% of the children are from surrounding suburban towns. Every student receives free breakfast and lunch. The students' academic levels and needs vary widely across grade levels. Academic and behavioral expectations are high and the students continue to go above and beyond. They are eager to learn and always rise to the occasion. Our school provides a safe, collaborative environment that promotes diversity, self-esteem, inquiry-based learning, independent thinking and produces students who are college ready and prepared to succeed in life!
