My students are sixth graders who came to this school seeking education and safety. They are very bright individuals who just need someone to appreciate their talents. The school is an urban school that has about 90% minority students in attendance. The classrooms are not equipped with modern technology nor student computers. Most of my students do not have access to computers at home and live in areas where walking to the library could be dangerous.
