I teach at a Title I school where many of my kids are at risk for failure. Since our school has added music and art teachers we have seen a sharp rise in our test scores. Unfortunately budget cuts have shortened the amount of time the kids get with these teachers. Most of my parents work and do not have time or the resources to take their children to a museum. Most of my students want to write and illustrate their own book.
