Imagine at-risk students, who have been issued a Zero Tolerance ruling in their comprehensive school, passionately engaged in improving thier personal actions and academics within a single school day. This is what we are creating though our new behavioral and academic points level system, and our students are really buying in to the positive changes. Students will be encouraged to simply be kids, as well as experiencing the positive approach to friendly competition in order to improve self-esteem. We have created a VIP level system where students have the chance to earn the opprotunity to eat lunch and play in our new VIP room. The room will also be used for our weekly Fun Friday event that closes out our school week. Both events will offer student the relaxed feel of simple fun; in which many student do not admit to having on their own outside of school due to their influence of friends and lack of family support at home. Staff members will also be in the room with the students to form bonds with them through competition and fun.
