All of our students are struggling readers. I chose the Apple 9.7- inch iPad Wi-Fi - 6th generation- tablet- 32 GB - 9.7' because the students need continual practice reading sight words, sentences, and paragraphs. They require interesting and engaging stories that they can access using the tablets and motivate them to read. They can listen to the texts using the audio feature and access a variety of reading levels, as their comprehension improves on the internet. The products I have selected will motivate the students' interest in reading and math. They will be able to access several websites that provide educational games made to strengthen content area skills. My students are noticeably more engaged and less disruptive to their peers, which increases everyone's sustained focus. This is due to having a larger variety of fun, interesting resources to choose from.
