I teach kindergarten in an inner city, high poverty school in North Carolina. Over half the students in our building qualify for free and reduced lunch. Many of our students are at risk in the areas of reading and math. We are a K-5 building. In my classroom, much of our learning is done through shared demonstration by teachers and students.
