My school sits in an eclectic urban area in the Northern Wasatch Front of Northern Utah. My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds, experiences, and cultures. My second graders are full of creativity, wonder, and energy. They buzz about full of questions and full of love for learning. Our school has a strong arts focus and we work to integrate every aspect of visual, musical, and performing arts into the content areas. My students perform in each of these arts areas in a variety of settings. This love of the arts deepens their content knowledge as they begin to see art in every aspect of their lives.
