I am the new music teacher at this school and even in the short time of knowing my students, they have shown me their immense excitement and passion for playing instruments. I teach over 700 students in grades Pre-K through 5th grade. Our band program consists of a beginning band, which starts in 3rd grade and our concert band, which includes our 4th and 5th graders. To be in the band our students audition and rehearse after school. They put on 2 concerts per year as well as perform at community events held at the school. This school has a wonderfully supportive environment that really values the arts. The students are eager and excited to learn!
