My students are some of the most amazing young people in the world. Many have been through things that most of us could not imagine. Many students are coming from extreme poverty. Although these students have had hardships in their lives, they still come to school everyday and strive to be the best that they can be. One thing that I have seen in my eleven years of teaching is that the arts can lift young people up like nothing else. Our young people are committed, caring individuals who work hard to let their lights shine.

About my class
