My students are bright, funny, curious, and full of personality. I teach high school math to students with a wide range of learning needs and abilities. Many have struggled with math in the past, so I want my classroom to be a place where they can build confidence and experience success. My students benefit from hands-on, engaging learning that goes beyond worksheets. They enjoy games, technology, building, exploring, and connecting math to the real world. I also want them to feel safe, welcomed, and cared for. Sometimes being ready to learn starts with a snack, a calming space, or simply knowing someone created a classroom with them in mind. My goal is for every student to leave my classroom knowing they are capable, supported, and worthy of success. 💛
