This instrument will help bridge the gap between instruments we don't have versus instruments we need. The Pearl Malletstation has the versatility to be a xylophone, marimba, or even a drumset. We have found our equipment is failing and unrepairable. To replace the equipment would come with an astronomical price tag. But through this new technology, we can do great things with a smaller price and a smaller footprint. This is technology that 38 students will benefit from both individually and as a class. It is a new element to percussion that is quickly gaining traction in the education world. It will help us tremendously, while also keeping our students technologically advanced!
