I have been using the same set of A History of Us by Joy Hakim for about 10 years. My school does provide laptop computers for each student and a Promethean Board in every classroom. I still like to have the students read and learn from a text book. We are requesting a copy of A History of the US, and more copies of A History of U.S. From Colonies to Country and Making Thirteen Colonies. A large number of my books have been defaced, and the bindings are starting to come apart on most of them. They have suffered over the years and are starting to become unusable. I have some books that are still in good shape. If I could retire those that are falling apart by adding to my classroom set that would be a big help. I could use extra copies of Joy Hakim: A History of Us, A History of U.S. From Colonies to Country, and Making 13 Colonies.
