My students are AWESOME, first of all! They are a diverse group of students in an Integrated Co-teaching classroom. This means there are some special education students and some general education students, but they are all great students! The school is struggling to keep up with the advances in technology. We are in a poverty stricken area New York but that is not important when the students are in my classroom. The students in this class are thirsty for information and love technology. However, they do not have the access to the technology that they so desperately want to use. They are funny, creative and have a love for learning that needs to be encouraged. I know they can and will be productive members of society and I want to send them out into the world with the best tools possible. You have to see their work to understand how great they are!!
