Our students are recently-arrived immigrants and refugees, coming from more than 35 nations and speaking over 30 languages. They come to us with all kinds of imaginable and entirely unimaginable experiences and needs. The courage they show in facing daily challenges here in the US, in an effort to forge a hopeful future for themselves and their families, is nothing short of Inspiring. They are resilient, fun, caring, and deserving of everything that we can creatively muster to provide for them. Creative we will have to be. Our school district currently finds itself struggling with the effects of painful budget cuts. We're hanging in their with the generous support and positive energy from people like you. Anything you can do to help would be appreciated, even if it's as simple as a $5 donation, spreading the word, or sharing a thought of encouragement. Thank you!
