The answer boards have been a quick way for me to assess whether students are understanding the subject matter I am teaching. They quickly lift their boards to show me their answers.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw that we had received new materials, they leaped for joy because they were so excited to see what we had received. It has also been very helpful to have all of my supplies easily accessible in the carry bag.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they all let out sounds of excitement and were so happy to have new resources to use in the classroom. I have seen students use them as they type, and it has helped them take a breath and relax.\r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled to receive both the calming strips and the Breathing Pal. They loved having the opportunity to choose a calming strip for their Chromebooks and also having time to sit and use the Breathing Pal. The Breathing Pal was especially wonderful because it changes colors and helps guide them to breathe and calm down. I now have a sign-up sheet where students can reserve time in the calming corner, and it fills up first thing in the morning.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our calming corner are to add more tools to support relaxation and self-regulation. With the watercolor materials you helped provide, my students are not only learning artistic techniques, but they are also discovering new ways to express their thoughts, emotions, and perspectives. For many of them, this is their first experience working with high-quality art supplies, and the excitement has been truly inspiring to witness.\r\n\r\nSince receiving the materials, our classroom has been filled with vibrant color, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Students eagerly approach each lesson, experimenting with blending colors, practicing brush techniques, and creating artwork that reflects their individuality. I have seen students who are typically hesitant in other subjects light up with confidence as they share their artwork with pride. These moments are powerful reminders of how meaningful your contribution is.\r\n\r\nBeyond the artistic skills they are developing, students are also building patience, focus, and resilience. It was incredible to see their confidence grow right before my eyes.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. There were gasps, huge smiles, and so many eager hands ready to explore. They couldn't wait to touch, build, and discover all the possibilities. Our next steps include using these manipulatives to support deeper problem-solving, storytelling through hands-on play, and integrating them into small group instruction to meet individual student needs. Your generosity has given our students key tools that help them understand themselves, navigate their emotions, and build stronger connections with others. Your gift will have a lasting impact on our students' emotional growth and academic success.\r\nSocial-emotional learning is an essential part of education that equips our students with skills that will benefit them both inside and outside the classroom. These books help students learn how to identify feelings, articulate emotions, and practice empathy which are all foundational skills that support healthier relationships and stronger self-awareness. \r\nWe have already begun integrating the books into our daily routines and SEL lessons, and the difference is noticeable. Students are choosing these titles during independent reading time, and they are sparking meaningful conversations about kindness, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and understanding diverse perspectives. Because of your donation, our classroom library now includes resources that support empathy and compassion, encourage respectful communication, and empower our learners to reflect on their own behavior and choices. These are lifelong skills that extend far beyond academic performance, helping students build character and emotional intelligence that will benefit them into adulthood.\r\nThank you for your belief in the importance of social-emotional learning and for investing in our students' growth. Your investment is not just in a tool — it is an investment in creativity, engagement, inclusion, and student success. With your help, we now have a resource that will transform how our students learn, create, and express themselves.\r\nOur new cricut machine has allowed me to design and produce custom educational materials that are visually engaging and tailored to the needs of every learner in my classroom. Teachers frequently spend countless hours cutting, designing, and preparing materials by hand. A Cricut significantly reduces that workload, which has allowed me to focus more of our time on instruction, differentiation, and connection with students.\r\nFor many students, especially those who thrive with tactile and visual experiences, this machine turns abstract concepts into something concrete and interactive.
