I teach advanced Biology and Environmental Science courses to high school students, including classes within a professional career pathway designed to prepare students for college majors and careers in ecology, conservation, and natural resource management. At our public school in rural northeast Indiana, many students come from agricultural backgrounds and thrive in hands-on learning experiences connected to the real-world. By bringing engaging, career-focused experiences into the classroom, I aim to inspire students to become thoughtful scientists, environmental stewards, and future leaders.
