Creating a new work of art gives students a sense of ownership, accomplishment, and pride, yet some of the kids at my middle school will never get to paint on their own. Many of these kids don't even own crayons or markers! In art class this year, I want to give my students as rich and diverse an art experience as I can, however, this year our supply budget didn't cover much beyond the basics! Please help open up new horizons for these young artists by providing them with a new set of paints, pastels and related supplies. Who knows? You may be giving these students a gift that will last long beyond their seventh grade school days!
