I am a K-12 School Nurse at Lummi Nation School with a community of students who are disproportionately low income and from minority households. I try to meet the children's needs wherever possible with essentials that support their healthcare needs while at school, which includes spare clothing, feminine hygiene products, tooth brushes, toothpaste, hair brushes and other common requests. Because a child that has their basic needs met are better able to learn and grow and become their best self!

About my class
