I am trying to buy a class subscription to Scholastic Storyworks magazine and Map Skills. I would like to use these magazines to supplement our language arts instruction. Most of my students struggle with reading and are reluctant to read in class. These magazines offer an engaging and interesting way for students to practice their reading comprehension skills as well as learn subject area content while reading. This subscription comes with a myriad of online resources that work with our smartboard to make reading interactive and exciting, along with great printables to continue practicing the skills introduced. I have used other Scholastic magazines in the classroom, and the students are always excited to read them!
