My students are energetic, curious 8th graders who are learning foundational Pre-Algebra skills that will impact their future success in high school math and beyond. Many of them struggle with confidence in math and benefit greatly from encouragement and positive reinforcement. When students feel acknowledged for their hard work, participation, and perseverance, they are more willing to take risks, ask questions, and stay engaged in learning.

About my class
