Students Stand #withMalala will fund projects with a budget of up to $1,000 inspired by HE NAMED ME MALALA, a film by Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim. These projects will satisfy one or more of the following requirements: utilizes students' voices to address adversity they face in their pursuit of education, addresses the issue of the over 60M girls out of school around the world, addresses violence against girls associated with education, addresses stereotypes that negatively impact youth education, addresses the role of boys and men in advocating for girls' secondary education rights, or addresses a specific gap in girls education or women’s leadership such as technology, finance, equal pay, etc.
