The 2019 College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship is coming to the Bay Area! In the run up to the game, the CFP Foundation and the Bay Area Host Committee will be funding unique and multidisciplinary projects to advance and support student learning centered around STEAM education through the CFP Foundation’s Extra Yard for Teachers platform. Qualifying projects will meet the following criteria:
- Created by a full-time educator at a public school in the nine-county Bay Area where at least half of students qualify for free and reduced price lunch. For more on eligibility and to create an account, visit donorschoose.org/teachers.
- Be $2,000 or under in total cost (including materials, taxes, shipping, and the suggested donation to DonorsChoose.org)
- Have at least one subject under “Math and Science” or “Music and the Arts” selected
- Be created on or after July 1, 2018
- Teachers may have a maximum of one project funded

If your project fits all of the above criteria, you have a qualifying project and there’s nothing more that you need to do. If your project is selected, you’ll receive an email notification when funding is applied.
