This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need their space. When it comes to testing, students feel more at ease when they have their own space, which is why they need testing dividers and basic essentials to make them feel comfortable in the classroom.

My students are in a college-ready program, which is a small learning community at their middle school.

These students have the potential to improve their academic scores and grades to take on rigorous courses in high school and beyond. They are willing to take that extra step to succeed academically.

My Project

Students are continually evaluated throughout the year. Therefore, it is essential that they have their much needed testing materials to keep organized and comfortable during these stressful and anxious moments in the classroom. They need to have their individual space to concentrate and focus while testing so the testing dividers will help with that. The cardboard and duck tape will serve as materials to create the testing partitions. As part of a checking for understanding strategy, students use white boards to display their answers. The dry erase cloths will help this student activity go along more smoothly and efficiently.

Please help my students ease their testing anxiety by helping us with these essential materials.

They are a hard-working group of students who truly want to improve their grades as well as try their very best with the tests they take.
