This is making them understand how to work together to come up with the answer and also having them write down their steps. \r\n\r\nThe most exciting for the students is that they are able to print out materials for their college exploration units in avid. They can print the graphs out in color so students can see how to notice where two linear equations meet and see how to read the graph more easier. It has also help them understand how to graph different lines. \r\n\r\nYes students have felt more comfortable printing out things that will be helpful for them in math like if they want to bring out something in color so they can it better has been very helpful. A lot of the students have felt happy to see that this is a printer for our class and help us grow in our classroom community. It has also made them not afraid to ask to print something out because they see that this is help all students have equity in the classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1757562474477,"projectUrl":"project/scaffolding-notes-for-students/9441689/","projectTitle":"Scaffolding Notes for Students","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gutierrez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9077256"},{"teacherId":8613613,"projectId":9376934,"letterContent":"When our supplies arrived, the changes showed up in small but really meaningful moments. For example, we ended the unit on narrative writing and they did the \"favorite line\" activity, students were actually excited to use the sticky notes to show off the parts of their work they were proud of. It seems simple, but having enough sticky notes for everyone let them participate without hesitation, and they loved seeing their ideas displayed. The same thing happened with their essays. Being able to print them and hang them up made the work feel real to them, and they took more ownership because they knew their writing would be seen.\r\n\r\nFor our college research project, having colored paper and working markers made a noticeable difference. Students were genuinely excited to add color to their presentations, and when they realized their final drafts could be printed in color, they lit up. It gave the project a level of polish they don't always get to experience, and it motivated them to go a little deeper with their work.\r\n\r\nThe hygiene supplies brought relief in a quieter way. Students who needed them no longer had to ask or go without. They could just take what they needed and move on with their day. Overall, the room feels more supported. Students participate more freely because they trust that we're stocked and prepared for them. It's not dramatic, but it's steady, real impact, and it has made our classroom feel more complete.","fullyFundedDate":1753906369895,"projectUrl":"project/fresh-year-full-supplies/9376934/","projectTitle":"Fresh Year, Full Supplies!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Salcedo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8613613_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x228,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1717042312417","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8613613"},{"teacherId":8615968,"projectId":9576138,"letterContent":"I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions of pencils and pencil pouches. My students love using them for I-Ready, audio books, watching education videos at their own pace, and listening to music. These headphones are extremely comfortable and allow my students to complete independent assignments without distracting their peers. Students can work at their own pace.\r\n\r\nI've noticed that students who have anxiety like to use the headphones to relax and take their time completing assignments that require audio. Also, students like to listen to their favorite music if they have a few minutes of resting time. These headphones work amazingly well with the Chrome books each student has. Many students grab their headphones as soon as they walk into my classroom.
