My Students

We have 25 students in my first grade class. They all have different reading strengths and weaknesses. The Nook Tablet will motivate and challenge each student. With over 2.5 million books to choose from, the Nook will meet the needs of the students below and above grade level.

The students in my class have very active imaginations and are very creative.

The technology of the Nook is sure to keep them engaged and inspired. Many of the students are avid readers and need a vast library of high interest books to choose from.

My Project

Receiving the 3 Nooks in our classroom will allow us to have multi-leveled books in one place. The readers approaching fluency will be just as excited to read on The Nook as the advanced readers. The Nook's dictionary feature will make teaching vocabulary fun and exciting.

I am always looking for ways to inspire all levels of readers and conduct differentiated reading groups.
