This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in my classroom is learning from the moment the students enter the classroom until the bell rings and we leave the classroom. I want my students to absorb and connect the learning in the classroom to real word experiences and connections. I can do that with this technology.

My students are wonderful, adventurous and smart children.

They love to learn new things everyday. They love to make connections to what we are learning to real world experiences. Our school has a majority of students who get free lunch- a SES school ( Social Economic School). This doesn't stop my students from learning to their fullest potential. I teach and incorporate as much instruction and learning into each day of learning.

My Project

This " Technology on Wheels" will allow myself and the students to incorporate technology into all areas of our learning. If we are learning about Natural Resources, it would be nice to just turn on the projector, laptop and find information and pictures on the internet for all students to use. If we are learning a phonic sound for the week, we could put the website that has interactive games and examples of that sound on the white board magnified for all students to see and use. If we are working on math problems, we would use the Elmo Document Projector to see how the teacher or students can solve the problems and allow all students to see it from any part of the classroom.

This " Technology on Wheels" will allow me to teach at a higher level incorporating and bringing into the classroom ideas and themes from outside the classroom.

It would allow my students to learn and make connections from outside the classroom to real world connections and experiences.
