My students need iPads, protective covers, and stylus pens for use in the classroom!

I am currently a Business Education teacher at a Title I high school. Currently, I am the only Business Ed teacher without enough technology for all students in the room. This is a major setback and having iPads would enhance our technology capabilities tremendously!
My students are amazing!
Again, I teach in a Title I high school and over 75% of our students are below the poverty level. Our school has about 1750 students and 120 teachers. Many of them do not have access to the Internet at home and this is a real disadvantage when giving them assignments. They are hard workers and they love opportunities to work with computers and getting to do technology based projects or presentations. My students range from 9th-12th grade. Many of my students can't afford the necessities of everyday life, let alone the necessary technology needed to get them ready to graduate high school and prepare for college. I keep food in the "Snack Stash" for my students and many days I give my own lunch away or pay for students to eat in the cafeteria. I have many students who spend their lunches with me to get help in looking for scholarships and filling out college applications. Having these iPads would allow me to assist so many more students with these things.
My students develop marketing plans and full-blown business plans. I have set-up the ability for them to present these "Shark Tank" style. They really get into these projects as they last most of the semester. However, not having technology in the classroom is a real drawback in the success of these projects. Having the iPads would allow more students to work and research during class time. Additionally, the students could use them for group projects and this would allow for more effective team building activities and more innovative discussion. Also, instead of working with one student at a time during lunch on college things, I could work with 4 at a time. This would be such a blessing! One thing the students really want to do is make videos and take pictures to add to their presentations. We currently don't have a way to do this now. However, having the iPads would open the door to endless opportunities for these deserving students!
Having technology at our fingertips will really make completing our assignments much easier.
It's really difficult right now without technology in the room, because I'm having to alter many required assignments to accommodate the lack of technology. My students would be over the moon to have technology at their fingertips! Giving the students the technological tools they need to motivate them and inspire them to work together would be the greatest gift!
