Teaching at a Title I school can be challenging at times, as we often face limited resources and work with students who may be considered low performing. The resources you have provided will not only help us bridge learning gaps but will also give our students access industry-level technology that supports real-world experiences. My students will now get to experience access to technology that they were only able to experience by going on field trips or by bringing guest speakers with access to different technology.\r\n\r\nMy students have already begun using many of the products to enhance their skills in image and video production. They are especially excited about the robots and the opportunity to explore different programming types. Your contribution has sparked enthusiasm and curiosity, and it is making a real impact in our classroom. The resources that you have provided have allowed me to increase the rigor in my classroom, allowing my students the ability to operate on the same level as their peers from other schools.\r\n\r\nSome of my students were skeptical about the classes but they are excited about all new opportunities that are available to them. These snacks were a lifesaver for students trying to stay focused and engaged in class despite empty stomachs. They also served as a motivating reward for those attending after-school credit recovery sessions, giving them a much-needed energy boost to stay on task. Teachers on the go often stopped by for a quick snack to keep them going through their busy days, and students who visited for disciplinary issues or just to check in were welcomed with a small treat—helping to shift the tone to one of care and support.\r\n\r\nThis simple act of hospitality transformed my space into an inviting environment where students and staff felt seen, supported, and valued. Offering snacks opened the door to conversations, helping me build stronger relationships with students, especially those who might otherwise be hesitant to connect. It also created a sense of love among staff, who appreciated the gesture of being able to stop by, grab a snack, and go-- no questions asked. In small but powerful ways, these donations helped cultivate trust, care, and community throughout the school.","fullyFundedDate":1746699682778,"projectUrl":"project/successful-students-deserve-a-snack/9146587/","projectTitle":"Successful Students Deserve a Snack!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Moultrie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9469572_orig.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1708440213173","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9469572"},{"teacherId":996536,"projectId":9202972,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for contributing to my donors choose project! The calm lighting, affirming messages, and tools used to support their academic, social/emotional, and postsecondary goals sets the tone of a safe space. \r\n\r\nDue to your donations, families that enter the student services department of my school feel welcomed before even speaking to someone.
