Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please save our centers! Our classroom is very small and it is difficult to find storage and display space for our center items.

My students are second language learners with many learning gaps and difficulties.

In addition, many contend with speech impairments. They all come from low socioeconomic background which has been a major hindrance to their level of experiences, both personal and academic. Furthermore, throughout the school year many of my students are arriving from their countries at different times with vastly different language and learning abilities.

My Project

The storage cart and the supporting tools will provide a portable location for students to work in learning and language centers. This will help also to provide more targeted and individualized help that my students need, including comprehension and phonics skills reinforcement. The Chart paper, and pocket charts will allow me to give my students the visual supports that they need.

Your generous donation will provide my students with an opportunity to expand on their English language skills and thus close the language and learning gap.

This tool will facilitate not only my students' learning but also provide a resource that is keen on maximizing storage and facilitating classroom traffic.
