My students need two tablets to track a virtual stock market game to better their knowledge and prepare them for their future.

My Students

If you had the technology available to you now to track the stock market and plan for your future would you do it?

I teach 75 students in Texas.

We are a school with a little over 2600 students. They range from low income to high income students with some that see no future at all. All of my students respect one another in class as well as the teacher, me. We have a Business Attitude in my class and it works to help keep order and kids focused.

My Project

We will be tracking the stock market and stocks that the students have researched. They will be given "play" money to spend on stocks. They will research companies and read about them and figure out which ones are the smart ones to invest in. We will also use the tablets for other projects as well.

I think by having the tablets and doing this project it will show students how to invest properly.

This is opportunity for students to build a retirement at an early age. It will also allow them to show their peers and family members.
