Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Dale Carnegie once said "People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing" Please help my students succeed in science by having fun.
I teach science in New York.
The elementary school where I teach is located in a low socioeconomic area. I teach third and fourth grade students. There are four units each grade is required to master. Each unit has a wealth of information and it is sometimes difficult for the students to grasp everything.
My Project
The materials I am requesting will supplement the science curriculum and offer the students a chance to review concepts they have learned already. The inventor resource kit will introduce the students to famous and not so famous inventors whose inventions have impacted society. The Hot Dots Cards with pens and the Match ans Sort Quickies will provide a fun way to review.
I truly believe that my students will retain more science concepts if they have fun studying and reviewing.
