My Students

Sometimes, something as simple as new school supplies is what it takes to motivate a student at the beginning of the year. Many students start the year with few school supplies. These new supplies are my attempt to level the playing field regardless of socio-economic status.

When school starts each fall it is nice to have newly sharpened pencils, colored pencils, and a healthy supply of notebook paper.

For some families even these few supplies are an unreachable reality. Times are getting tougher for more and more families. I have requested these supplies to help the students in my classrooms have the tools they need to succeed at academic tasks.

My Project

Having these supplies available to all students in my classroom will help everyone be ready to learn. Nobody will be hunting for paper or pencils, in order to write in their journals. Sticky notes will be available to write down questions and mark passages in books. Colored pencils will add pizazz to any presentation.

I am requesting these community supplies to have on hand for all students in my classroom.

Having new supplies available in the classroom might help take the stress and strain off of new students and their families. Please consider supporting my project that will help students have the supplies they need available in the classroom.
