This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students need lab kits and equipment. I am going to try to get items that we need- one at a time. If you log into Donors Choose via www.donorschoose.org/chase, they will match your donation up to $50! Hopefully we get get what we need before that offer expires!

I have wonderful students.

They are curious and love to do labs. They come alive when they have the opportunity to perform an experiment or see a demonstration. They are so energized when they have hands on work. I have already seen their note taking improve when they see formulas on the board come to live on lab bench.

My Project

This Kit will help Demonstrate all of the major principles of electricity in physics, including electromagnetism, resistance, chemical energy and static electricity. Students need hands-on projects so they can make connections to what they learn in the book and the world around them.

My students are the ones who fall through the cracks.

We don't have low scores on tests so we don't get extra "help" for materials. At the same time we don't have the funds to purchase equipment. Please help us- one project at a time!
