Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

With class size increasing and funding decreasing, having enough technology to meet the needs of my class is a challenge. Having an extra source of the Internet in our room would be great.

My students are self motivated and independent learners.

They often finish work early and seek opportunities to enhance their knowledge of the current subject of study. The new literacy program came with a great research component that is highly motivating, but frustrating when their is not enough access.

My Project

My students would also be able to get additional skill practice with various educational apps that can be downloaded to the tablet. It would be a great resource for them to use, especially when finished with classroom assignments. Technology is a great motivator to keep my students looking for more information.

I am hoping to get more tablets in my class in the near future to enable the students to have equal access to the technology.

Our school has wireless Internet capabilities, and we are excited to begin using it!
