My Students

My students love to spend time on the computer. They have also started to take assessments on the computers. The mice that are available to them are hard for them to use and sometimes cause them to click on something that they did not want to click on.

I have kindergarten and first grade students ranging in ages from 5-7 in a rural North Carolina school.

My students love school and love to spend time on the computers. With North Carolina adopting the common core standards my students will need to spend more time on the computer and will need mice that their little hands can operate.

My Project

I am requesting that my students get computer mice that are adapted for a child's hands. The mice are color coded to help learn left and right and are smaller to fit their hands. These mice will help students have a more meaningful technology class. They will allow the students to navigate the computers with ease and will allow them to learn the technology concepts that we will be teaching them.

The computer mice will be shared with all the kindergarten and first grade students at our school.

This will allow so many students to benefit from the kid friendly mice. The students will be asked to use technology more, and more in their education and we want them to be able to correctly control the mouse with their small hands. The mice will benefit their technology education greatly!
