My students need materials to keep them healthy and thriving in the learning environment including hand sanitizer, white boards, and paper to create learning evidence.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
"An investment in knowledge pays the best interest."
-Benjamin Franklin
My students are the investment in the future. They are bright-eyed, ready-to-learn scholars who need the support of the world in order to reach their goals.
The scholars of Room 208 are energetic nine and ten-year-olds ready to learn about everything from vocabulary to place value to election processes.
My scholars are at a range of one to four grade levels behind and are working hard to achieve as much as possible this year, as they attend school year-round. Each day they practice fast math facts, utilize technology in a blended learning atmosphere and strive to reach two years of growth in one single year.
My Project
My students will be able to have small group lessons with me during math with the help of white boards and dry erase markers. This will make their learning more meaningful by building stronger relationships with their peers who are learning the same material as they are. The art supplies including paper and markers will be used for students to show in a visual, musical, or technological way what they have learned about the specific topic they are learning about. These scholars have incredible imaginations and with these supplies will create beautiful representations of their learning.
Your donations will improve my classroom by giving my students the support that they need to make drastic gains in math whether it be through hand sanitizer to keep them healthy and in school or white boards to keep their learning focused and progressive.
