My students are currently between one and three grade levels behind, and with the use of tablets my kids would be able to access math work at their level using an app that was created by the same company and curriculum that we use for math intervention. My kids would get to practice the same material on their own at their own speed while I get to work one on one assisting other children in their group. These tablets would only add to the ways my kids are learning as we already use math games, direct instruction, fact fluency practice, among many others.
