My Students

Please help us update our Listening Work Station! My students currently have an out-of-date "boom box" that they cannot operate independently.

I have a classroom full of enthusiastic, independent learners!

My full-day kindergarten students love the freedom of literacy work stations, and the opportunity to work with a partner while practicing essential language arts skills. This is a highlight of their day!

My Project

My students thoroughly enjoy going to our Listening Work Station, but often have difficulty with the out-of-date technology. Unfortunately, we have an old "boom box" that still uses cassette tapes. My 21st century students need materials that they know how to use independently. These individual MP3 players and headphones will allow students to enjoy listening to stories and hear learning activities, without pausing for "technical difficulties".

By placing these materials in the hands of my students, you will help them to be independent learners who can effectively practice and review kindergarten skills.

We want to bring our listening work station into the 21st century with technology my students use without assistance.
