I am completing my second year as a physical education and health teacher in a high-needs community in Illinois. 100% of the students receive either free breakfast, free or reduced lunch and a snack for those involved in the "After School All-Stars" program. I teach Pre-school through the 8th grade.

As I continue to expand the offerings to my physical education students, the need for equipment continues to be a challenge. We currently have 6 tri-folding mats that are pretty beat up. We need to continue to use the old mats until we can replace them.

My students need 10 tumbling mats to further their skills in gymnastics. The mats will benefit and expand our intramural program by including gymnastics instruction after school especially for the PreK-2nd grade students.

Your support of my equipment needs over the past year and a half have given my students a chance to experience cooperative and competitive games, intramural tennis, volleyball, and even pickleball. Your help will ensure that my students receive every possible opportunity to grow and develop physically at a younger age.
