My students need a large variety of creative arts and crafts materials for classroom projects and family gifts. These include wikki sticks, glitter shapes, foam shapes and collage pieces.

My Students

First graders love to get creative and love to create things to give to parents, grandmas, siblings, everyone! Normally, they are confined to paper and crayons. However, sometimes it would be fun to have a chance to make something special. This proposal will provide materials to do that!

I have a classroom full of creative first graders!

My school has a high percentage of English as a Second Language students and students on free and reduced lunch. There are also many gifted students and students with special needs at our school. We work hard to give the less advantaged students opportunities that they might not otherwise have!

My Project

With the materials in this proposal, students will be able to show their creative sides. They will use the materials to do projects and make family gifts. Many of the items are "kid friendly" (peel and stick) so they can easily do the projects on their own. For example, one project we do is a picture frame made out of an old jewel case. We provide a picture and they get to decorate it with the foamies. Just one of many things we can do with the supplies!
