Learning Rug Is the Key for a Classroom Victory!!

My students need an educational math rug in their classroom because we spend a tremendous amount of learning time working together as a group on the floor.

I am a 1st grade teacher at a high poverty school that I absolutely love working at. The kids are amazing and spend the majority of their time at school. The reason a rug would be so important is that we can come together on something educational and fun rather just sitting on the ground. My kids love learning, love math, and love fun educational things.

We have a rug I brought from home that is so small that only 3 students can read on. It is important that we can come together as a group and learn from one another.

Math is something students will need for the rest of their lives. Seeing numbers will remind/excite them of how important it is to learn math.

Having this rug would be so helpful for my students. They appreciate things and I believe would allow them to be enthusiastic about learning as a team.
