My Students

I would like to prepare my children for the 21st century!

My amazing Kindergarten students come into the school year with boundless energy and curiosity.

It is our job as teachers to support them as learners and nuture those wonderfully innocent traits. We have English Language Learners, special needs students, as well as children who need to experience visual, kinesthetic, tactile and/or auditory learning. In Kindergarten, it is important to give them a positive early experience. Technology plays a vital role on educating today's students. Please help my students excel in their learning with these Kindle Fires.

My Project

I would like to have 2 Kindle Fires for my classroom because I feel they will be a highly engaging tool for teaching and reinforcing learning with my kindergarten students. This is a very adaptable tool, which can be used for differentiation at all levels. This tool is adaptable to the needs of all students, The Tablet provides many free educational applications like books, read alouds, tracing letters for motor skills and other self correcting games. Both English language learners and English speakers would benefit from the Tablet. The Tablet is versatile and could be used in all subject areas. In this technological society students will benefit from working with the Tablet. The tablets will allow my kindergarten students to learn with interactive activities and lessons, which will make learning motivational and fun. I also would like a printer so we can print our work and research from the internet.

This will provide the opportunity for children to have differentiation at all levels.

The Tablet would be a highly engaging learning tool adaptable to the needs of each child. This project would help with language and math skills because there are many applications that would be provided to help with the learning process. Your donation would help unlock a great opportunity for learning to my students. With your donation, you will help bring the curriculum to life, through the use of technology.
