Math games are always fun for students to use on iPads, but not all the games that they play are actually beneficial. The IXL math program is common core aligned and students will be given a daily assignment that aligns with my teaching to help them further develop their skills.
My students LOVE math.
They can't get enough of it! They love when I give them more time to develop themselves as mathmaticians. Most of my students do not have access to iPads at home and when they get to use them at school are so excited. I love being able to have technology in the classroom and students do as well.
My Project
Students will receive a user name and password for IXL math. They will be assigned to a task and will have the chance to work on problems just like were taught during the lesson. Students will also be able to use their log in at home or at the library to work on their skills.
With your donation, my students will have access to an application that will enhance their learning and not just "keep them occupied" playing games.
They will be building knowledge and will prepare them for the math world ahead of them.
